THE 4TH MOVEMENT - THE 4TH MOVEMENT

In the Burlington, Vermont area, circa 1980, the band called Death were now residing, playing their new music under the name The 4th Movement. Having had no luck with angsty, proto-punkin' plaints about the effed-up nature of the modern world and their place in it, the Hackney brothers were ready to give their hearts to Jesus - but their music was still raw-edged rock 'n' roll. The 4th Movement album has been out of print for decades - only 1000 originally pressed - but given how Death's music's become a punk rock household name, we believe it's time for one and all to hear the clarion call of The 4th Movement.
