Tab Benoit - I Hear Thunder (LP)

I Hear Thunder is the latest offering from Blues heavyweight Tab Benoit out of Houma, Louisiana. The title track, "I Hear Thunder" is a romping Blues Rock number with Tab's trademark dirty blues guitar licks soothed by his velvety vocals. "The Ghost of Gatemouth Brown" explores some New Orleans Jazz rhythms overlayed with that crunchy blues guitar sound Tab is famous for. Other highlights are "Still Gray", "Little Queenie" and "Bayou Man". This album is wall to wall solid Blues guitar face-melting goodness. Not hearing it on vinyl would be a crime against audio.
