Hootie & The Blowfish - Cracked Rear View (LP)

In 1994, all by themselves Hootie & The Blowfish revived Southern Rock. On the foundations of The Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd they built Cracked Rear View. This singular record features breakthrough hits like "Let Her Cry" and "I Only Wanna Be With You". That this kind of music would register in the popular conscience during the age of Punk Rock and RnB is something special and it speaks to its quality. The production on this album deserves to be appreciated on vinyl, which this reissue allows.
