Elton John - Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player (Limited Coloured 180gm LP)

Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player directly precedes Goodbye Yellow Brick Road in the Elton John canon. And they were both released in 1973. As such, the latter sometimes overshadows the former. 

This record is truly a song writing masterpiece. Of course, everyone knows the uber-hit "Crocodile Rock". But "Daniel" is a truly beautiful track, "Midnight Creeper" keeps the Blues Rock alive for Elton and "Have Mercy On The Criminal" is a pure Prog Rock ripper.

This limited edition red splatter vinyl release is a fun way to own an album that really must be amongst your collection.
