Cold Spring Harbor was the birth of the Piano Man. Billy Joel’s captivating debut album, originally released in 1971, features early gems like "She’s Got a Way" and "Why Judy Why," and "Everybody Loves You Now". It's Joel at his most raw, recorded when he was just 22. As such, the heartfelt lyrics, and virtuoso piano mastery are all the more astounding. Due to a mastering error, the original LP release ran at a faster speed than originally recorded. So vinyl really is the only way to own this classic if you want the authentic version.
