Tea and Sympathy is, in our view, a heavily underrated record. When Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning briefly traded chunky electric guitar licks for soft acoustic picking, it caused ripples in the Australian music scene. But the fruit of this work was a beautifully crafted Folk album tinted with Bluegrass and Country. It's uncomplicated, accessible and honest - everything you want in a record of this kind. 'Wish You Well' and 'Songbird' headline a well crafted track list. As with everything in our store, we believe this is a record best heard on vinyl!
